When storing root vegetables, remember to open the bag they come in - to make sure they are of the quality required and to stop them from sweating. It is a good idea to remove the vegetables from their packing as soon as possible after delivery - and to place them in appropriate containers. If this is not possible - then at least loosen the packaging and inspect the contents for damage and content.
